2023-2024 GJHSRA Sponsorship 

The Georgia Junior High Rodeo Association is for all Junior High School students, grades 5th through 8th, under the age of 16. Please read through all information provided. The first four forms are due before or at the first rodeo you attend along with a copy of your grades and a copy of your birth certificate. All signatures are required! Please upload these forms to the membership portal PRIOR TO RODEO DAY if at all possible. The Waiver of Liability form must be turned in at check-in of each rodeo. We may have forms available at check-in but this is your responsibility to provide signed by parent and contestant. The sponsorship and other forms are very important and will apply at a later date, but are not required for the first rodeo.

To enter a rodeo you must: To enter a rodeo, you must enter through our online entry system this year during the appropriate time published.  After you finish the form and submit you will receive an email back to the email you listed in the entry form.  Please review the email right away to make sure everything is accurate. If you do not receive a confirmation email, you are NOT entered. If you find a problem please call Trista Wilson 404-975-9072 between 9am and 2pm to get it corrected.



Contestant Membership Fee is $120 ($40) to be paid with fees at first rodeo.

​Associate Membership Fee is $10

Entry Fee per event is $45

Grounds Fee per weekend is $20

​

​There is a small payout at each rodeo ($17.50 of each entry) but contestants compete primarily for cumulative points throughout the season. The top 25 in each event qualify for competition at the State Finals Rodeo. There is a requirement to meet the required minimum participation in fundraisers and ad/sponsorship sales to qualify for State Finals eligibility. Following the State Finals Rodeo, the top four contestants in each event are eligible to represent Georgia at the National Junior High Finals Rodeo.
