2019-2020 Membership Information 

The Georgia Junior High Rodeo Association is for all Junior High School students, grades 6th through 8th, under the age of 16. Please read through all information provided. The first four forms are due at the first rodeo you attend along with a copy of your grades and a copy of your birth certificate. All signatures are required! The Waiver of Liability form must be turned in at check-in of each rodeo. We may have forms available at check-in but this is your responsibility to provide signed by parent and contestant. The sponsorship and other forms are very important and will apply at a later date, but are not required for the first rodeo.

To enter a rodeo you must: You may email in all day until 9:00 p.m. the Monday prior to the rodeo to gjhsracallin@gmail.com. Emails must have contestants name, each event entered, team roping/ribbon roping partner, one or both rodeos, and a call back number. You will receive a confirmation email letting you know your entry was received. If you do not receive a confirmation email, you are NOT entered. Questions please call Belle Bone at 706-537-2633.



Contestant Membership Fee is $120
​Associate Membership Fee is $10
Entry Fee per event is $30
Grounds Fee per weekend is $10
Association Fee per weekend is $10
There is a small payout at each rodeo ($5 of each entry) but contestants compete primarily for cumulative points throughout the season. The top 20 in each event qualify for competition at the State Finals Rodeo. There is a requirement to meet the required minimum participation in two fundraisers and ad/sponsorship sales to qualify for State Finals eligibility. Following the State Finals Rodeo, the top four contestants in each event are eligible to represent Georgia at the National Junior High Finals Rodeo.
